WVU-P listed among the top 5 percent of most affordable colleges

WVU-P: West Virginia University at Parkersburg recently was listed among the top 5 percent of most affordable colleges offering bachelor’s degree programs.

Federal officials recently released online lists showing the higher education institutions with the highest and lowest tuition costs.  West Virginia University at Parkersburg was among the top five percent of most affordable colleges offering bachelor’s degree programs.

The average cost for tuition and fees at public four-year colleges in the U.S. was $6,397.  WVU Parkersburg’s cost for four-year programs is $2,076.

The lists, which allow students and families to determine the schools with the best value, can be found at www.collegecost.ed.gov.
